We seek therapy for all kinds of reasons, commonly from a deep wanting for something to be different, for something to change. It is easy to see ourselves through a single lens of struggle and failure. But we are not our deepest fears and worst mistakes. And we do not build resilience without challenge. In therapy we face our struggles, and celebrate our triumphs.
Some of the issues I frequently work with;
- Healing trauma
- Identifying, understanding, and changing patterns that no longer serve you
- Self-esteem
- Codependency
- Self-limiting beliefs
- Stress, overwhelm, and how to slow down without missing out
- Building strong boundaries – know the difference between internal & external
boundaries - Healing relationships, healthy relationships
- Re-parenting
- Working with shame
Effective recovery is unwinding the natural potential you were born with out of your unconscious.

Therapy for Men
I’ve enjoyed developing a specialty working with males. I believe we are all equal. The way I see it, current society has developed into a place where men do not have as much room to be their full selves. It looks like limited identity options, confusing roles, and often difficult mental health issues.
Some of the things I help men with;
- Masculinity – what it means to you and how to embrace yours
- Role changes
- Stress and the unique stressors in being a guy
- Communication – what’s the big draw and how do I get comfortable with it?
- Dating
- Feeling understood
- Identity
- Vulnerability – how can it be my strength? And how can it feel strong?
- Relationships – work, romantic, children, friends
- Self-esteem
- Working with shame
- Identifying and healing family hurts and trauma
- Self-advocacy, versus self-entitlement
The rational mind is a faithful servant, and the intuitive mind a precious gift. We live in a society which honors the servant but has forgotten the gift.
